This is an introductory handbuilding ceramics workshop in Almada, recommended for anyone interested but with a special focus on those who have never tried it before!
It is ideal as a first contact with ceramics and a great way to spend a peaceful and different afternoon, with your hands covered in clay and letting your creativity flow while shaping your own pieces.
The pieces are 100% created and designed by you, and you'll be able to make at least 2 pieces, as time allows, with the help of 3 handbuilding techniques — slab, coil and pinch. This event is intended for both adults and children over 6 years old, with or without experience.
All pieces will be fired and later glazed by me. Delivery may take between 3 to 4 weeks , depending on the drying time and the ambient temperature. The pieces will be dishwasher and microwave safe.
The enrolment fee includes unlimited clay and all materials, tools and decoration accessories, firings, glaze, personalised guidance and access to the new coffee station.
