FAQ'S

1. How are the pieces made? Are molds used?

Each ceramic piece is handmade by me, without molds. Every piece is different and that's what I love most about ceramics. It's the simplicity of each piece being unique, with subtle variation and differences in its shape, size and glaze, but always with its perfect imperfections. The pieces are all made from high-temperature stoneware, so they are then fired at 1050 to 1260 degrees.

2. What can I do if the piece I want is sold out?

If you want a piece that isn't available, you can send me an e-mail to thegreenstudio.ceramic@gmail.com with the photo/name of the piece and the number of pieces you want!

3. What is the waiting time for a piece?

If the piece is available, the waiting time is just the shipping time, 3-5 working days.

If there is no stock available of the piece you want and you need to order it, the waiting time is between 2 weeks to a month. The piece has to be created and then goes through a drying process which depends a lot on the weather. If the weather is warmer it dries in 3-4 days, if it's more humid it takes up to 7 days, depending on its size. After the piece is dry, it has to go into the kiln for the first time and we can only take it out on the next day. Then the piece is glazed and goes into the kiln for the second time. The kiln reaches very high temperatures of 1000 and 1260 degrees, so it needs to cool down before it can be opened. We take it out again on the next day and it's ready to be shipped and decorate your home!

4. Can I put the pieces into the microwave and dishwasher?

Of course you can! All the pieces are produced at high temperatures, between 1050 and 1260 degrees, so all the pieces can go in the oven, microwave and dishwasher!

5. Do the pieces meet food safety standards?

Yes! All the pieces are glazed, but none of the glazes used contain lead, so they are suitable for utility purposes and comply with all food safety standards and conditions.

6. Is it possible to make pieces to order?

Of course! Go to the contact page and let's create together!

7. What is the return policy?

I spend a lot of time packing all your pieces with all possible care and love, to prevent them from arriving damaged. All my pieces are wrapped in bubble wrap, then tissue paper and placed in small boxes so they can be transported safely. In the unlikely event that one of your pieces arrives broken, please let me know as soon as possible via e-mail with photos of the piece to thegreenstudio.ceramic@gmail.com and I will exchange it and/or send you a new piece!

Returns are only accepted on a case-by-case basis, so please consider carefully before purchasing a piece! Returns are not accepted on pre-orders or made to order pieces.
